Michael Ignatieff visited the Spectrum Community Center in Victoria BC yesterday. This was an information gathering session to find out exactly was on Canadian’s minds. Mr Ignatieff gave a great performance and answered the concerns of people in the Western communities.
AM Fresh was glad to be there to bring you the highlights.
The Hon. Michael Ignatieff Joins Victorians in A Town Hall Meeting. To bring insight to what is happening in the government today. Ignatieff is a well known speaker in both Canada and the US. He has been recently appointed Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and it looks like on May 2, it will be made official that Michael Ignatieff be named Official Opposition Leader. AM Fresh will be there covering both events one in Victoria the other in Vancouver and videos will be posted in the video section of the site.

On Canada day I attended the annual Drag Ball game in Victoria as part of a full week of pride activities. The result was once again a tie between the kings and the queens who had adopted a zombie/vampire theme for this game. My partner from AM Fresh has taken some excellent photos for sharing. […]

When I see the old Con zombie Vic Toews crawl out of his hole and sink his teeth into a compromise on the gun registry.Claiming it's a constitutional question and too complicated. Like the census. Even though it isn't."It's almost as if Vic Toews didn't even bother to read the decision of the Supreme Court when he made his comments t […]
There'sNoSpinLikeDeflectorSpinVille....I can't help but wonder if the most timely announcement of the Pickton Inquiry by the mostest illustrious government of Premier Gordon Campbell and his merry band of PABsters wasn't designed, at least in part, to be a brand-new shiny bauble to distract all those suddenly persnickity pundits 'round he […]
This enraging utterly depressing story, South African Reserve's Last Rhino Butchered for her Horn reminds me of Romain Gary whose fabulous book Les racines du ciel contains some good ideas about dealing with poachers. This interesting person and these guys have good english reviews. The 1958 film with Errol Flynn, Trevor Howard, Orson Wells & John H […]
If you can’t afford to buy or grow food for your family, what the hell makes you think you can afford a pet? Or, worse yet, pets? I’m all for companionship and saving animals from the CERTAIN DOOM of euthanasia, but give your head a shake. What, did you think that dog would survive on […]
