Galloping Goose TrailThe Galloping Goose is a funny name for a trail. Funny as it may be you will not see any geese galloping around here. What you might see is a few geese on Swan Lake as you walk past on the 60 KM hiking trail extending from Sooke through to Saanich. The Galloping Goose is know the Park Corridor on lower Vancouver Island.   Once known for the train route through the southern Vancouver Island, it now connects several parks together providing some the most spectacular green space in Canada. The Galloping goose trail is home to the Bald Eagle, Turkey Vultures, deer, various flight creatures and other wild life.  This trail is used by bikers, joggers, walkers, dog walkers and horseback riders alike. Walking or riding a horse through the trail, probably gives you a greater chance of getting some fantastic shots over the whole trail.  Start at one end and make it to the other.   The terrain is not a paved path and some parts may be a bit uneven.  Download Galloping Goose Trail today.
