This tug boat on a rest from the hard work at sea rescuing big freighters and barges just outside the shores of Lonsdale Quay in Vancouver North, as they enter and part from the Docks of Vancouver. After a shiny new restoration she looks like she is ready to continue with her destined duties. She will have long hard days ahead of her with fairing winds at her stern. Download Resting Tug today.

Well about to take a small boat ride around Elk Lake BC there sat a family of ducks resting on the dock. Mom and her litter of duckling are drying their feathers and warming themselves in the sun. Elk Lake is a wonderful place where wild life get together for reproduction. Take the time to visit soon and take in what nature has to offer.
The water was little choppy making it hard to see how far out you needed to go to avoid getting a hook caught in the weeds. It turned out there was not a nibble to be had. The best part of the day was taking this picture and turning it on a puzzle for your enjoyment. Download Ducks Sun today.

Thetis Lake, a wonderful place to swim, fish, hike or just hang out. I like to set out on the lake in a 4 man dingy troll around with a line in the water.
There are two parts to Thetis Lake, the main beach where families mingle in the water and long distant swimmers practice for their next race. The other part of the lake is generally a hangout for the younger teen age crowds who do not like to be seen at the beach with their parents. The fishing at Thetis Lake is above average for those fish enthusiasts. Best times for fishing is between April and June and then not again until late September through November. I personally like to go between 4 am – 9 am basically before the sun gets too hot or at around 5 pm – 9 pm. Thetis Lake is also the home of several bird species for those bird watchers.
Thetis Lake is Located in Colwood off of Six Mile Road. It is pay parking so don’t forget your toonies.
Here is a shot of the entrance way to the left elbow of the lake. Download Thetis Lake puzzle and have fun. The puzzles are generally only 25-40 pieces. I am working on a program that will allow to send puzzles with more pieces for those who enjoy the more challenging games.
