A road trip up and across Vancouver Island over the May 24th weekend has given us the opportunity to bring you some wonderful shots BCs fantastic rain forests. There is only so much that you can see in 2 days so our journey took us to Englishman Falls and Cathedral Grove the first day and Little Qualicum Falls on the second day. The sleeping on the hard ground and the walking did take their toll on rookie hiker bodies but photographs were worth the effort. I hope you enjoy these shots and opening puzzle. This first puzzle of the trip is at Englishman Falls off Highway 4A on Vancouver Island. This painter has taken advantage of the day and the view she has to express her emotions of the moment on canvas.

This first puzzle could very well be the picture she was painting We won’t know for sure until the painting is released. We did not get close enough to see what the subject of her easel was holding. We hope that you enjoy these beautiful scenes through Englishman Falls.

Other series to follow will be Cathedral Grove and Little Qualicum Falls.

By the time we got back to the campsite we pretty much went to bed. We lucked out for most of the trip as far as rain was concerned, it only rained when we were at Little Qualicum Falls. We were protected by the trees so we really didn’t get too wet. If this is a trip that you would want to do it is very inexpensive other than gas and your campsite and food.

Rest assured they saw me long before I saw them. I’ve heard them, but seldom seen one in the daytime.

In the day time, it is much different. You would think that a bird would see you and fly away rather quickly. This fairly young bird did not fly away at all. She was perched on a log with her friend a couple feet away. He on the other hand was not too trusting. He looked like he was getting ready to charge the camera. I guess I was getting to close to his potential mate. A whole lot of hissing and spitting going on.

I was able to get with in 3 feet to take this photograph of this beautiful creature. Of coarse I took full advantage of the moment. It goes to show you never travel anywhere without a camera, that perfect shot is always out there.

It is always a wonderful thing to see nature in all its glory. Now you too can enjoy my moment. Download Gray Owl Posed today. This 96 piece puzzle should not take the advanced user to long to figure out, but will be fun for the younger crowd.

This photo was taken from one of the windows at Gorge Road Hospital. The residents who reside here enjoy this view everyday. There are several other vantage points from the upper floors. The grounds of the hospital provide passage ways to sever paths that will allow you a peaceful walk along the inlet. It is a good way to get exercise as there is several places to launch canoes. Canoeing and practicing rowers are frequently seen from this vantage point. This photo is now available in puzzle format. It is a bit more challenging that some of the other puzzles done by AM Fresh. Everyone likes to take the ride that fancies their thrill. Saanich Fair is like no other when it comes to thrilling rides, game booths and sideshow entertainment.

Performances from Karly Summers, Martial Arts exposes, comedians, and magicians entertained onlookers.

While in another section the farmers corridors filled with animals of all breeds, best grown crops, vegetable sculptures, and good old country baking. Each entry hoping for one of the many prizes available.

It is one of the few times towns folk get together to celebrate let loose, show off their talents, be proud of their accomplishments.

Over the years fairs of changed, though the basics are still there such as rides, farmers wares and horse carriages. Gambling and games of chance still remain for those looking to win the big prize for their sweetheart. The sights on the guns are still a little off and some balloons are just a little under inflated. Such as the life of the carnival. Things lost such as the blacksmith, minor and the taylor, the vegetable people and the walking talking cartoon animals.

For your enjoyment AM Fresh has put together a theme puzzle pack from photos taken from the top of the Ferris Wheel.

This wheel was not as big as some, from other fairs but for Saanich it is big enough. AM Fresh hopes that you will enjoy this new series Download Amusement Park Puzzle Pack Today.
