Amusement Parks and Fairs Still A Needed Attraction.

ferriswheel1Our story comes from the Saanich Fair in 2009. Everyone likes to take the ride that fancies their thrill.  Saanich Fair is like no other when it comes to thrilling rides, game booths and sideshow entertainment.

Performances from Karly Summers,  Martial Arts exposes, comedians, and magicians entertained onlookers.

While in another section the farmers corridors filled with animals of all breeds, best grown crops, vegetable sculptures, and good old country baking. Each entry hoping for one of the many prizes available.

It is one of the few times towns folk get together to celebrate let loose, show off their talents, be proud of their accomplishments.

Over the years fairs of changed, though the basics are still there such as rides, farmers wares and horse carriages. Gambling and games of chance still remain for those looking to win the big prize for their sweetheart. The sights on the guns are still a little off and some balloons are just a little under inflated. Such as the life of the carnival. Things lost such as the blacksmith, minor and the taylor, the vegetable people and the walking talking cartoon animals.

For your enjoyment  AM Fresh has put together a theme puzzle pack from photos taken from the top of the Ferris Wheel.
