Sooke Pot Holes B-r-r-r-r

sph03Sooke Pot Holes where you want to be if you really want to cool off. The Sooke River has made its way from Sooke Lake down to the Pacific Ocean. Home for Chum, Cut Throat Trout, Chinook and Coho. Unfortunately there is only about 5 KM of actual fishing. Sooke Pot Holes has some pretty deep diving caverns. These shots are of shallower pools, still good for swimming (wading). The water is ice cold but refreshing. There are several sections of the river that are worth checking out. Though I did not get any pictures of the cliffs this time here are three shots I did get and turned them into puzzles for your enjoyment. This puzzle series is just one of the many wonders of Vancouver Island British Columbia brought to you by by AM Fresh.

Summer Kayaking Fun DownloadThe heat of summer always makes us want to find ways to make the best of the warm weather. These people have the right idea on Wednesday to beat the heat. Get out on the water in kayaks. This shot was taken at Gorge Rd Park in Victoria Saanich area.  After talking with a local resident of the area we found out the calm waters make an excellent spot to float up and down the channel depending on the tide.
